What we collect
Account details (name, email, password hash), profile information you add (bio, avatar, social links), the photos photographers upload, order history, and emails you give us at checkout or when following a photographer. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers. Basic technical logs (IP, browser) are kept for security.
What we use it for
Running the marketplace: delivering purchases, paying photographers, sending transactional email (order confirmations, password resets, album alerts you asked for), and preventing fraud/abuse. We don't sell your data. Album alerts always include an unsubscribe link.
Number plates in photos
Photos of cars at public events may show number plates; we index plates so owners can find photos of their own car — that's the core purpose of the site. If a photo of your car concerns you, contact us and we'll review or remove it.
Where it lives
Data is stored on our own database infrastructure in the EU and object storage in the EU (Amsterdam). Payment data is with Stripe. We keep backups for 14 days.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data — most of it directly from your account. For deletion requests or anything else, contact @autosnaps_uk. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
